There will be no classes at Bishopswood on Sunday 5th April and Llanfoist Tuesday 7th April
The First Class, "Beginners to Improvers" Jive Class Sunday Night @ Bishopswood 6:30 pm
January 2026, aimed at novice dancers a new “Back to Basics” beginners programme at Bishopswood and Llanfoist. Starting with basic steps taught at an easy pace. As the term progresses you’ll learn a new routine each week. Building on the previous week a new Jive move is taught each week.
Intermediate Jive Class Sunday Night @ Bishopswood 8:00pm
For the more experienced “Improver” dancer who wants to move on beyond basic steps. The tuition moves at a quicker pace. Each week a new move is introduced and can include Charleston and Lindy Hop steps

At Llanfoist Village Hall near Abergavenny. Tueasday evening at 7:30pm. The address is Llanfoist Village Hall, Church Lane, Llanfoist, Abergavenny NP7 9LP
Kerne Bridge near Ross-on-Wye
Bishopswood Village Hall is near Kerne Bridge in the 
Wye Valley HR9 5QT. An idyllic location with the Inn On The Wye located close by. On the B4234 out of Ross-on-Wye 200m past by the junction with the B4229 from Symonds Yat. Easy road access from Ross-on-Wye, Monmouth, The Forest of Dean and beyond.
Standing on the banks of the Wye, Bishopswood Village Hall is in the Wye Valley an AONB.
An Introduction To Lindy Hop

Instructors
Liz (lead) & Nicky (follow) both passionate dancers and Lindy Hop in particular. Nicky has been teaching Jive, Charleston and Lindy Hop for about 25 years at various locations. Liz a skilled Lindy Hop dancer equally at home as a Lead or Follow is accompanying Nicky in the role of Lead.
