Jive By The Wye is a dance studio specialising in Modern Jive and Lindy Hop
We are passionate about dancing. Dancing is fun, its exciting, it can keep you fit and has a great social scene.
We would love to share our passion with you. Come along with no obligation to one of our weekly classes. Complete beginner or accomplished dancer. We have two classes to suit your dancing skill.
We have two locations. Bishopswood Village Hall on Sunday evening starting @ 6:30.
Llanfoist Village Hall on Tuesday evening starting @ 7:30.

Jive Classes weekly in three terms per year
Each tuition session includes two classes
Sunday evening, divided in to two categories according to Jive Dancing experience.
The First Class is aimed at novice and beginners. The moves are basic and taught at a easy pace.
The Intermediate Class is for Jive Dancers who want to go beyond the basic moves. The lessons are taught at a quicker pace and include more steps.

Nicky and Gary both keen Jive dancers for many years started Jive By The Wye dance studio in May 2021
Nicky returned to teach dance in May 2021. Nicky taught Jive, Charleston and Lindy Hop for many years and was a pioneer bringing Modern Jive and Lindy Hop to the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley area
Gary a keen jiver for many years and occasional dance tutor joined Nicky to start Jive By The Wye dance studio In May 2021

There is no licensed bar at this event. The hire agreement policy of Bishopswood Village Hall deos not permit the consumpion of alcohol on the premiees with out the appropriate licence. Tea, Coffee etc will be available FOC
